Chelsea n' Teddy's litter born 11/05/08
Last Update;
Dec. 18, 2008
11/30/08 Babies are 3 1/2 weeks old now.
They're really starting to become little people.
If there is such a thing as an alpha Doodle then Huey wins.
Huey is the sassiest and the curliest.
The next curliest is Liberty. She's very thoughtful and I think she'll get pretty big as will Huey and Soldier.
Victory, "Vic", is the most shy. He likes to sit in the back and take everything in.
I think Trooper and Glory/Pebbles look the most like their daddy and have the least curls.
Soldier has the most straight black coat and a block head like his daddy.
I'll de-worm them, for the second time, on Wednesday.
See the smoother coat on Soldier? His head and ears have some curl though.
I think he'll look like a big black Golden Retriever. :)
I've never seen Golden Retriever pups, or Standard Poodle pups, this small so I don't know what characteristics are coming from which parent.
Huey has puppy chow on his forehead. :)
12/01/08 Babies will be 4 weeks old in a couple days.
I think Liberty, "Libby", has a beautiful face. :)
My boyfriend, Pete, helped me hold them today. A little better picture quality.
I try to get Pete to handle them as much as possible so they don't get used to only female humans.
I think they're just gorgeous.
There are still two babies available. We're just not sure which ones yet. Stay tuned!!
Okay, they're really hollerin', I better go feed um' or something.
Karrie and her family have chosen Liberty. We don't know what her new name will be yet.
Still two boys available!
12/4/08 Babies were 4 weeks old yesterday.
Vic and Pebbles have big round eyes like their mama.
Trooper is really starting to get scruffy around his nose and mouth. Just adorable!!!
They're eating puppy slop three times a day now and growing so fast.
12/08/08 Babies will be 5 weeks old in a couple days.
Okay, I just took 64 pictures! They just won't cooperate!
Well, here are the best of the bunch. :)
They're growing soooooo fast!!! They're all going to be scruffy!
Huey and Libby are the curliest. Then Vic, then Glory/Pebbles, then Trooper and Soldier.
I take the pictures thinking I'll be able to tell who's who...
They all look so much a like...
I think they like looking out the window.
Now I know the one standing up is Trooper cuz he's got dried poop on his left front shoulder. :) :) :)
I can tell that's Libby cuz she has puppy chow stuck to her head. :)
I hope I have them all labeled correctly???
I need to get somebody over here to help me take pictures again.
They're eating dry puppy chow and drinking water now. Their mama only feeds them a couple times a day now.
< I think that's Huey with Solder. Could be Libby though.
12/08/08 One baby boy still available.
12/11/08 Babies were 5 weeks old yesterday!
I let them out of the puppy cage today for the first time.
I'll try to label them correctly.
Lemme' know if I get some wrong. :)
The goldens are starting to look dirty from the newspaper.
They had a blast runnin' around and chewin' on stuff.
They got to meet one of the kitties.
Everybody has an opportunity to chew the broom and a shoe.
Too bad they can't help me sweep!
For some reason the food and water taste better when you're standing in the dish!
I'll probably be sorry I gave them some freedom. There's one in there crying right now. I'm sure he wants out. :)
I probably shouldn't be letting them chew on my shoes either but that's what grandma's are for.
Let um' misbehave and then give them to their new families. hehe
I didn't think it was possible but they get cuter everyday!
All babies are spoken for. Stay tuned for another litter next year. Maybe we'll get some white or brown ones next time.
12/18/08 Babies were 6 weeks old yesterday!
^ Now, there WAS a puppy in this picture when I clicked the button!
Two against one! I think Huey ended up with the glove.
Their father's owners came to visit us last night. They were pretty impressed!
They all got de-wormed again today. That makes three. I'll start shots, for all those that want them, this weekend.
